The Plan phase is where we find out what you want. Typically, this phase consumes approximately 20-30% of the total project timeline. Plan includes an initial phone or email consultation and follow-up contact to arrive at the following deliverables:
Documents / Content (about us content, photos if any, and other information you would like |
| |
us to include on your website). |
Project Cost Estimate and Timeline. |
Definition of Roles and Responsibilities per to our agreement form. |

The design phase is where we design the user interface, architect the application, re-evaluate the requirements, adjust the cost, timeline, and re-evaluate the project risks. Typically, this phase should consume 10-15% of the total project timeline. Design will have the following deliverables:
Template Layout Prototype for client evaluation. |
Revised document, content, photos, that will be included on the site. |

The development phase of the project is the most anticipated phase, but also happens to be the most critical. It is very important not to rush this phase because this is where website is being sliced from Template phase into actual web form, website bugs and other problems will reside. Development should consume 40-50% of the project timeline, depending on the requirements. Development will have the following deliverables:
Slicing the Web Template to actual web page format. |
Enabling the Administration Portal if requested with web order. |
Complete client end-to-end experience. |
Beta version of the project (Released internally for testing, you will have access to this |
| |
area for viewing while we develop the website). |

Testing the project is very exciting, but it is not the final launch. In this phase, we deploy the website on an internal staging server that is an exact duplicate of our production environment. We thoroughly test it here for bugs and content errors. You will have access to view and test it for final revisions before launch. Deployment should consume 15% of the total project timeline and will have the following deliverables:
Change content, code and Bug Tracking (bug tracking software is used for all incidents of |
| |
pre-launch of your website). |
Beta version of the project (Released internally for testing, you will have access to this |
| |
area for viewing and to test that all content and functionality is to your liking). |

Time to launch your website to the world! The following are deliverables in this phase:

We will setup a web hosting account for you, or will upload your website to the web host |
| |
of your choice. |

| |
